I have been in love with this boot from the first day I saw it.  I am a big fan of Charlotte Olympia shoes, especially the ones that have her signature dolly platform.  The dolly platform stands out and really adds to the overall look at the shoe.  I love this boot but not the price so I was over joyed to find Jessica Buurman version of this boot for a much lower price!

Charlotte Olympia has a very whimsical approach to designing and I love that about her designs. She is not afraid to try anything. This particular design is called “Hands on Sandals”. As you can see there are hands on this entire unique sandal. What I love most about this sandal is the colors. The nude pair with the red is a perfect combination. If you love this unique Charlotte Olympia sandal but not the price Jessica Buurman has a comparable sandal for lesser price.

Charlotte Olympia is one of my favorite shoe designers.  She is known for her signature Dolly platform and her whimsical style. Her logo, a gold spider web, is inspired from the well known children’s novel Charlotte’s Web (www.vogue.com/voguepedia/charlotte_dellal). After reading about Mrs. Charlotte it was very clear to me why I admired her designs so much.  Her passion about shoes and accessories was conveyed through everything she said and she wants her shoes to reflect that passion as well. Some quotes I loved from her Vogue interview were: “I don’t really think in flats”, “My identity is high heels shoes”, and “My style is all about accessories”.

Last year, Charlotte Olympia came out with the shoe Girls on Film. There were different variations and colors made of the shoe, but they are all equally stunning.  The last place that I could find that sold the shoe was at net-a-porter.com.  In a mad search, I came across a very similar shoe by Paper Fox called Filme that is now being sold at Shoe Dazzle.
