Mixing patterns has become one of my favorite things to do.   You would be amazed how many patterns really complement each other.  My favorite patterns to work with are black and white patterns.   I love this ootd.  I would wear my hair in a top knot to really show off the mock neck and the fabulous gold earring.  How would to style this black and white combo.

Christian Louboutin is one of the most successful shoe designers in this decade. His red bottom shoes are so popular and easily recognized by anyone. At the age of 12 he could feel his passion growing within himself when he would sneak away to Parisian night clubs to watch the show girls and their shoes. This passion for shoes remained with him as he grew into a young man. Christian Louboutin said “I want to create something that broke rules and made women feel confident and empowered”(sashahalima.com). He was inspired after visiting the Museum of Oceanic Art in Paris. At the museum he saw a sign that said for women to not scratch the floor with their high heels (sashahalima.com). The sign really bothered him and stuck with him for life. After finishing school at both Chanel and Saint Laurent schools for design he launched his first shoe line in 1991. His boutique was frequently visited by Princess Caroline Monaco. She loved his designs and let that be known to everyone she could tell. A local fashion journalist wrote about Christian Louboutin designs because of what he had heard from the Princess (sashahalima.com). At that point Christian Louboutin’s career took off. The world was now getting to see his passion for women and shoes through his designs. His signature red sole, which makes his shoes so recognizable was incorporated one year after his initial launch. Christian Louboutin said “In 1992, I incorporated the red sole into my design of my shoes. This happened by accident as I felt that the shoes lacked energy, so I applied red nail polish to sole of the shoes. This was such a success that it became a permanent fixture”. (sashahalima.com)

Christian Louboutin vs. Jessica Buurman

This Christian Louboutin pump is so pretty. I love the paisley print cutouts. The lace is also sexy. I am sure these will complement any dress or skirt. I would love to wear these to my next holiday party but they are a little pricey. Lucky for me Jessica Buurman has a comparable pump for a lesser price.

Christian Louboutin vs. Bakers

This Christian Louboutin is quite unique. The extended shaft really adds some flare as well as the chevron pattern. I can see this shoes paired with some skirts or even some colored skinny jeans and a moto jacket. I really like these and would not mind adding them to my shoe collection if only they did not cost so much. If you like these Christian Louboutin as much as I do but not the price they have a comparable shoe at Bakers for less.

While scanning Christian Louboutin.com for new shoe finds, I came across the cutest kitten heel shoe.  The Franca is a cute pointy toe kitten heel shoe perfect for work environment and the color is a nice transition into fall looks as well.  Franca come in nude and navy blue, again perfect for the fall and features small lace up detail on the front.  Betsey Johnson has a similar style shoe called Strut with a slightly higher heel.

Christian Louboutin vs Jessica Simpson

I remember the first time I saw this fabulous shoe, it was love at first sight. What I like the most about the Christian Louboutin Zoulou is the versatility; it can be easily dressed up or down. I have seen this shoe worn with cargo pants, jeans, and it looks stunning with dresses too. The only thing I would change if I could about Christian Louboutin Zoulou is the extra large platform. For me the platform is not practical for everyday wear, which means if I can not wear it when ever I want I would not get my money’s worth. Jessica Simpson solved the platform problem with her equally fabulous Segel tube strap sandal. Christian Louboutin Zoulou was sold at saksfifthavenue.com and ChristianLouboutin.com. Christian Louboutin now has a similar design called Gortika that has no platform at all and it also has a slightly larger toe opening. I prefer at least some of a platform, so the Jessica Simpson Segel would still be my first choice.

For obvious reasons I am in l am in love with this bootie. I am a strong believer that a woman can do and be anything her heart desires in the right pair of shoes, and these are the shoes for me. I love the color and the print, and the style of bootie is to die for! Christian Louboutin has tons of shoes that I have liked in the past, but by far this is my favorite yet.
